UTI MEPUS declares 15 pc dividend

MUMBAI: UTI Master Equity Plan Unit Scheme (UTI MEPUS) has declared a tax-free dividend of 15 per cent for 2006-07.
The record date for the dividend is April 17, a company release issued said here today.
The NAV per unit as on April 12 was Rs 37.50.
The scheme came into existence in March 2003 as a closed ended equity-oriented scheme as a consequence of merger of five MEP schemes, it said.
It primarily aims at securing for the members capital appreciation by investing the funds in equity shares and convertible/non-convertible bonds, debentures or money market instruments.
