The minimum investment amount is USD 5,000 for both regular and direct plans.
“Through GIFT City, we aim to widen global access to India’s long-term growth story, particularly in the midcap segment. The fund enables USD-denominated offshore investing into Indian midcaps, helping reduce currency and operational friction for international investors,” said Anand Radhakrishnan, Managing Director, Sundaram Asset Management Company.
He added that the strategy focuses on long-term wealth creation. The underlying Sundaram Mid Cap Fund has a 23-year track record under the Regular Plan (since inception) and has delivered over 5.3x growth in 13 years under the Direct Plan (since the introduction of Direct NAV).
The Sundaram India Midcap GIFT is structured as a feeder fund that will invest a majority of its assets in the Sundaram Mid Cap Fund. The portfolio is diversified across sectors such as industrial products, banks, financial services, healthcare services and auto components, aligned with India’s manufacturing, infrastructure, and consumption-driven growth themes.
