Quantum Long Term Equity Fund expense ratio to be retained at 1.25% to benefit investors

Lower expense ratio means better management of costs. Hence the investors will make higher returns on fund with lower expense ratios.

Quantum Mutual Fund will not increase its current expense ratio for the Quantum Long Term Equity Fund. It is an open ended equity scheme and charges 1.25% as its expense ratio. Lower expense ratio means better management of costs. Hence the investors will make higher returns on fund with lower expense ratios. Expense ratio is deducted from the investment amount on daily basis before publish the net asset value (NAV).

"The idea is to offer low-cost products while maintaining transparency to our investors," the asset management company (AMC), said in a statement.

As per the data provided by Valueresearchonline.com, Quantum Long term equity fund has the lowest expense ratio at 1.25%. UTI Equity fund comes second in terms of low expense ratio at 1.45%, followed by UTI Contra at 1.64%.

Apart from the diversified equity fund, the expense ratio of Quantum Tax Savings Fund is 1.25% and 1% for Quantum Gold Fund (ETF). The expense ratio of Quantum Gold Savings Fund and Quantum Multi Asset Fund is 0.25%.
