PPFAS Mutual Fund to hold its 6th AGM in Bangalore, Mumbai

PPFAS Mutual Fund is planning to start its sixth Annual General Meetings (AGM) later this year. The meetings will begin in Bengaluru on November 30, followed by Mumbai on December 7, a press release from the fund house said.

At these events, along with the company-specific announcements, the management of the fund house puts itself up for the scrutiny of unitholders and discusses the portfolio in detail. The Mumbai meeting will be live cast for unitholders/partners or anyone interested as the link will be made freely available.

The physical presence at these events, though are open only to unitholders, distributors and selected invitees, the fund house said.


Neil Parag Parikh, Chairman and CEO, PPFAS Mutual Fund, said, “In the past, we had seen an overwhelming response by our investors and partners. It’s not only an opportunity for our investors and partners, but also we get to learn a lot through feedback at these events.”

PPFAS Mutual Fund offers only three schemes. The flagship scheme Parag Parikh Long Term Equity Fund invests in both the Indian and overseas market. The fund house launched a liquid fund last year and added Parag Parikh Tax Saver Fund, an ELSS with Statutory 3-year lock-ins, to the offering.

“The last year has been good for the fund house, we opened our first branch in New Delhi in August 2019. This year again we have many plans which I would like to discuss at the event,” said Parikh.

PPFAS Mutual Fund is sponsored by Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services Pvt Ltd, a boutique investment advisory firm incorporated in 1992. The sponsor was amongst India's earliest SEBI-registered Portfolio Management Service (PMS) providers, having secured a license in 1996.

PPFAS Asset Management Private Limited (investment manager to PPFAS Mutual Fund) is led by Neil Parag Parikh, the Chairman and CEO, since May 2015. Prior to that, it was led by the founder, (Late) Parag Parikh.
