The fund added 3.90 crore shares of DLF, taking its total holding to 5.27 crore shares in September, up from 1.37 crore shares in August. It also added 12.58 lakh shares of Bharti Airtel, taking its total holding to 2.40 crore shares.
The fund added 62.79 lakh shares of Indus Towers, taking its total holding to 71.45 lakh shares last month. Among the other 10 stocks added, Petronet LNG saw the highest number of shares purchased.

The fund also added 69.84 lakh shares of Petronet LNG, taking its total holding to 3.03 crore shares in September, up from 2.34 crore shares in August. This was followed by the addition of 62.66 lakh shares of Indraprastha Gas.
Nearly 12.77 lakh shares of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) were added to the portfolio, taking the total holding to 1.91 crore shares in September, compared with 1.78 crore shares in the previous month. The fund also added 6.41 lakh shares of CIE Automotive India and 5.26 lakh shares of Mahanagar Gas.
The other five stocks in which the fund increased its stake were Bajaj Holdings & Investment, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, EID Parry India, Maharashtra Scooters and Nesco.
The fund completely exited The Great Eastern Shipping Company, selling 12.73 lakh shares in September.
The fund did not reduce its exposure to any stocks in September. Its holdings remained unchanged in 20 stocks, including Axis Bank, CDSL, HCL Technologies, ICRA, Infosys, ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Coal India and TCS.
The fund held 33 stocks in September, compared with 34 in the previous month. It is an open-ended dynamic equity scheme that invests across large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap stocks.
The fund had assets under management (AUM) of Rs 1.45 lakh crore in September. Its performance is benchmarked against the Nifty 500 TRI. The fund is managed by Rajeev Thakkar, Raunak Onkar, Raj Mehta, Rukun Tarachandani, Tejas Soman, Mansi Kariya and Aishwarya Dhar.
In its monthly disclosure, the fund house said all portfolio holdings continued to carry ratings of AAA (long-term) or A1+ (short-term) from the respective credit rating agencies. It added that there had been no change in the credit quality of the securities held during the period.

The monthly factsheet also stated: “We continue to look at individual investments on their own merits and will not hesitate to invest if an opportunity looks attractive. As usual, our investment stance does not depend much on the macroeconomic situation but is focused on individual companies. We have about 9.77% in cash holdings, debt and money market instruments, and arbitrage positions, which can be deployed in long-term investments at appropriate levels.”
