Pankaj Tibrewal quits Kotak Mutual Fund

Pankaj Tibrewal, Senior Executive Vice President and fund manager, will leave Kotak Mutual Fund by the end of November, the fund house said. Tiberwal has been associated with the fund house since 2010 and he manages some prominent schemes like Kotak Small Cap Fund, Kotak Emerging Equity Fund, Kotak ELSS Tax Saver Fund, Kotak Business Cycle Fund, Kotak Multi Asset Allocation Fund, Kotak Equity Opportunities Fund, and Kotak Debt Hybrid Fund.

Harish Bihani from ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund joined the team in October. Two more fund managers will join the team soon, a press release said.

Harish Bihani was a senior fund manager at ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund where he managed schemes such as ICICI Prudential Smallcap Fund, ICICI Prudential ELSS Tax Saver Fund, and ICICI Prudential Transportation and Logistics Fund.

As on September 30, 2023, Kotak Mutual Fund had a quarterly AAUM (average asset under management) of Rs 3.36 lakh crore.

The fund house has over 53 lakh investor folios in various schemes and is present across 90 cities and has 97 branches as on 30th September 2023.
