Motilal Oswal Securities launches new investment tool for mutual funds

Motilal Oswal Securities today announced the launch of an automated and personalised financial planning tool -- TIP or Target Investment Plan -- that uses 'robo-advisory' to understand client's requirements.

TIP offers end-to-end solutions, from goal profiling, recommendations, registration, investment, tracking and portfolio re-balancing, the company said in a statement.

This tool is for mutual funds and can be accessed from Motilal Oswal's mobile and web platforms 24x7.


"Nowadays, investors are more evolved and knowledgeable. They seek simplified financial solutions from anywhere, anytime. TIP uses 'artificial intelligence' to provide a personalised guidance," Ajay Menon, CEO Broking and Distribution at Motilal Oswal Securities said.

Himatsingka Seide appoints K P Rangaraj as Group CFO.

Textiles firm Himatsingka Seide today appointed K P Rangaraj as its President -- Finance and Group CFO with effect from August 2.

In a regulatory filing, the company said the decision was taken by its board of directors at a meeting.

Ashutosh Halbe, who was appointed as interim chief financial officer (CFO), will step down from the post on August 2.

Rangaraj holds a bachelors degree in Science (Mathematics) from Madras University in 1986, Cost and Works Accountancy from ICWAI in 1987 and Chartered Accountancy from ICAI in 1989.
