Motilal Oswal AMC appoints Akash Singhania as fund manager

Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company (MOAMC) has appointed Akash Singhania as the Senior Vice President and fund manager for its scheme, Motilal Oswal MOSt Focused Midcap 30 Fund, on Tuesday.

Singhania, who has over 16 years of experience, would be a part of the equity mutual fund management team along with the company’s MD and CEO, Aashish Somaiyaa. He was earlier associated with DHFL Pramerica AMC as Deputy CIO- Equities, Deutsche AMC- DWS Global Agribusiness Fund as Head of Equities and ICICI Prudential AMC as Senior Analyst– Portfolio Management Service.

Singhania is an IIM Lucknow graduate with an MBA in finance & marketing, and ICAI with chartered accountancy in accounting & auditing. He is a qualified company secretary in corporate laws and taxation from ICSI.


MOAMC, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Motilal Oswal Securities Limited, is registered with Sebi as investment manager to Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund. It provides investment management and advisory services to investors based within and outside India.
