Mirae Asset Mutual Fund launches new brand identity ‘Platinum SIF’

Mirae Asset Mutual Fund has announced the launch of Platinum SIF, a distinct brand identity under which the company aims to offer Specialised Investment Funds (SIFs)

Platinum by Mirae Asset Mutual Fund marks a strategic evolution in Mirae Asset’s approach to product innovation, designed to create space for differentiated strategies within the Mutual Fund framework.

The brand aims to provide a platform that could help cater to the evolving investment needs of investors seeking more focused exposures, while remaining within structures they are familiar with.

“With Platinum, we are laying the foundation for a new phase in our product journey; one that may allow us to explore sharper, strategy-led approaches while continuing to prioritise investor clarity and transparency,” said Swarup Anand Mohanty, Vice Chairman & CEO, Mirae Asset AMC.

Mirae Asset AMC is considering the launch of new strategies under its Platinum SIF platform across equity, hybrid, and fixed income segments in the current financial year. The move aligns with growing investor interest in specialised offerings, with the fund house expected to evaluate options based on suitability, structure, and transparency.

“Our intent is to thoughtfully expand our product suite by exploring differentiated strategies within a structure investors already understand and trust,” said Vaibhav Shah, Head – Products, Business Strategy & International Business, Mirae Asset AMC.

“Platinum will serve as a platform for innovation delivered with clarity, aligned to investor needs and grounded in the principles of the mutual fund format,” he added.

There are seven investment strategies allowed under Specialised Investment Funds (SIFs), and Product-specific announcements under the Platinum brand, if any, will be made later in compliance with applicable regulations.
