Mirae Asset AMC launches the Mirae Asset Midcap Fund
The fund aims to build a diversified portfolio of strong growth companies as well as to avoid concentration and liquidity risks.

The minimum investment required is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Rs 1 thereafter. Investors will have to pay an exit load of 1 per cent if they sell their investments within a year. If the units are redeemed after a year, no exit load will be charged.
“Mirae Asset MF is enhancing its product basket to provide varied investment solutions for its investors and partners. We believe that mid cap segment provides a decent entry point for investors, as mid cap stocks are now trading at close to 20 per cent discount to large caps. We believe investors with a three to five year view should be looking at diversifying its portfolio in a mid cap fund,” said Swarup Mohanty, CEO, Mirae Asset Mutual Fund .
