Lotus India Tax Plan declares 15% maiden dividend

Lotus India Asset Management Company Friday announced a 15 per cent maiden dividend in Lotus India Tax Plan - Dividend Option.

MUMBAI: Lotus India Asset Management Company Friday announced a 15 per cent maiden dividend in Lotus India Tax Plan – Dividend Option. The dividend proposed is Rs 1.50 per unit on face value of Rs 10 per unit.

The NAV of the dividend option as on Jan 22 was Rs 13.65. The fund house has notified Jan 28 as the record date for the purpose of declaring dividend.

Lotus India Tax Plan, an open ended equity-linked savings scheme was the first equity scheme from Lotus India AMC. It was launched last year.

The fund has outperformed its benchmark BSE 100 since launch and on a one year basis. As of Jan 23, the fund has generated returns of 38.08 per cent since inception compared to the benchmark index at 32.85 per cent.

In the last one year, Lotus India Tax Plan has generated return of 40.68 per cent compared to the benchmark at 32.87 per cent.
