Karvy to market Taurus products
Eyeing Rs 400 crore this year, financial services provider Karvy Stock Broking will market the mutual funds of city-based Taurus.
"Taurus and Karvy are hopeful of mobilising Rs 100 crore per quarter this year," the companies said in a statement.
Taurus would focus on Discovery Stock Fund & Libra Tax Shield the first quarter, the statement said.
Karvy Stock Broking Ltd is one of the largest distributors of mutual fund products with a nation-wide network of 588 branches and has presence in 300 locations across the country.
It has investor base of 10 lakh exclusively in Mutual Funds.
Launched in 1994, Taurus Asset Management Company was initially promoted by IFC Washington and Lazard India Ltd. In 1999, it was bought out by Delhi-based HB Group, which merged its HB Mutual Fund with Taurus later.
