The fund house said that On February 06, 2025, SEBI via AMFI introduced “Framework for launching Fund of Fund (FOF) schemes with multiple underlying funds (the Framework)” which required to re-align all the existing Fund of Fund schemes within provisions of the ‘Framework’.
So, to comply with this ‘Framework’, the scheme is being repositioned in a way that it gets the best of both the sector rotation as well as theme rotation.
The performance of the fund will now be benchmarked against AMFI Tier 1 - CRISIL Hybrid 35+65 Aggressive Index.
The fund house further informed that this small change doesn’t steal away the shine of the scheme, rather enhances its ability to deal with market cycles. The fund will continue to seamlessly transition between sectors and themes with its major chunk i.e. 80% of the equity exposure alongside incorporating some stability with its debt exposure.
The scheme retains its flexibility to take aggressive and defensive themes based on its stance on markets and with the reclassification, the scheme can now take tactical exposure to small and midcap schemes as well, the fund house said.
