HDFC Nifty 50 Plan, S&P BSE Sensex Plan complete 20 years

Two HDFC index funds - NIFTY 50 Plan and S&P BSE SENSEX Plan - have completed 20 years. Both the funds were launched on July 17, 2002. HDFC AMC was one of the first AMCs to launch index funds in India.

The HDFC Index Fund- NIFTY 50 Plan has delivered an average return of 12.14% and manages an AUM of Rs 5,941 Crore. HDFC Index Fund - S&P BSE Sensex Plan has delivered 12.45% since inception and manages Rs 3,390 crore as on June 30th, 2022.

According to data, the tracking error of 0.05% for the HDFC Index Fund – NIFTY 50 Plan and 0.04% for the HDFC Index Fund – S&P BSE SENSEX Plan, is among the lowest in the industry. To commemorate this occasion, HDFC MF is also launching the ‘Trusted For 20’ initiative. This initiative emphasizes how HDFC MF is a trusted partner for investors in the area of Index Solutions.
