MUMBAI: Fortis Investments on Thursday said it has crossed Rs 10,000 crore for assets under management (AUM) on August 11, registering a growth of over 100 per cent since December 2008.

"Achieving this milestone in such challenging market conditions speaks volumes about the trust reposed in us by our investors and distributors and we would like to thank them for their support," Fortis Investments Managing Director Nikhil Johri said in a release here.

The growth in assets under management can be attributed to the consistent performance of its fixed income funds that are among the best performing funds in respective categories, he said.
