DSP BlackRock MF appoints Kalpen Parekh as joint president

Parekh has over 19 years of experience in sales across client segments, distribution and marketing.

DSP BlackRock Investment Managers, an asset management company, has appointed Kalpen Parekh as its joint president. He will be oversee sales, marketing, operations, human resources and risk & quantitative analysis along with leading international sales. S Naganath will continue to be the president and CIO of the firm, the release said.

Parekh has over 19 years of experience in sales across client segments, distribution and marketing. He was previously managing director and head of sales & marketing at IDFC Mutual Fund. He has also worked at Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company and ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company, after starting his career with L&T Finance.
