BSE StAR MF processes more than 1 lakh orders in March
BSE StAR MF distribution platform, the largest distribution framework for Indian Mutual Fund, processed 1.2 lakh orders on March 15 amounting to Rs 2,234 crore and 1.61 lakh orders on March 10 amounting to Rs 645 crore.

“This is a significant development. We are confident that BSE StAR MF has the potential to completely change the distribution framework of Indian MF industry by reducing the cost and increasing the predictability of processes,” said Ashishkumar Chauhan, MD & CEO, BSE. BSE StAR MF is a web-based transaction processing, fully automated online MF collection and settlement system. The platform is highly flexible and popular among brokers which account for more than 80 per cent of the market share.

AMFI registered ARN holders and SEBI Registered Investment Advisers can transact on BSE StAR MF platform in demat and non demat ( Physical / SOA ) mode. In case of demat mode the investor gets full service from single broker and he/she can view all his/her investments in one single location electronically with same demat account as that for equity shares.
