"The response to our ESG Fund and Services Fund reflects the growing maturity of Indian investors, who are increasingly looking beyond broad market exposure towards investment opportunities driven by long-term structural trends,” said " Sanjay Grover, MD & CEO, Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management (India).
“At Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund, our endeavour is to build differentiated investment solutions that are backed by rigorous research and active fund management, helping investors participate in India's evolving growth story. We remain committed to expanding our product suite thoughtfully while staying focused on delivering long-term value to our investors,” Grover further said.
The two funds represent distinct yet complementary long-term investment opportunities. While the Baroda BNP Paribas ESG Best-in-Class Strategy Fund focuses on companies with strong environmental, social and governance practices, the Baroda BNP Paribas Services Fund aims to capture opportunities arising from India's expanding services economy.
India's services sector continues to be the country's largest contributor to Gross Value Added (GVA), supported by structural trends such as digitalisation, financial inclusion, healthcare expansion, technology adoption, logistics, travel, hospitality and rising consumer spending. These trends are expected to continue shaping India's economic growth over the coming years.
