Bank of India ties up with Franklin Templeton

Bank of India enters into an alliance with Franklin Templeton to distribute its mutual fund products across India.

MUMBAI: Bank of India has entered into a strategic alliance with Franklin Templeton to distribute its mutual fund products across India.

The announcement was made by BoI executive director K R Kamath and A D Parulkar and Franklin Templeton President Vivek Kudva today after they signing the agreement.

Kamath said the bank already has a tie up with four mutual fund companies. The bank has been pursuing distribution of mutual fund products as an important source of earning fee income.

The bank is committed to become financial super market to provide diverse financial products under one roof to the customers, he said.

Franklin Templeton is one of the largest private sector mutual funds in the country with over Rs 26,000 crore assets under management.
