Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund launches Aditya Birla SL CRISIL IBX Gilt April 2033 Index Fund

Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund has announced the launch of Aditya Birla SL CRISIL IBX Gilt April 2033 Index Fund, an open-ended target maturity index fund tracking the CRISIL IBX Gilt Index – April 2033 with a relatively high interest rate risk and relatively low credit risk.

The new fund offer or NFO of the scheme will open for subscription on December 15 and it will close on December 21. The scheme will reopen for subscriptions/redemptions within five business days from the date of allotment.

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate returns corresponding to the total returns of the securities as represented by the CRISIL IBX Gilt Index – April 2033 before expenses, subject to tracking errors. In line with the maturity profile of the underlying index, the maturity of the scheme will be April 29, 2033.


The scheme will offer regular and direct plans with growth and IDCW options. The scheme will be benchmarked against CRISIL IBX Gilt Index – April 2033. The scheme will be managed by Bhupesh Bameta, Sanjay Godambe. The minimum application amount will be Rs 1,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter. The minimum application amount for monthly and weekly SIP will be Rs 500 each and above with minimum six instalments.

The scheme will allocate 95-100% of its assets in instruments forming part of the CRISIL IBX Gilt Index – April 2033, and 0-5% in debt and money market instruments, cash and cash equivalent.

The scheme is suitable for investors who are seeking income over the target maturity period.
