I am a moderate risk-taker. I have a target of Rs 3 crore corpus in 25 years. I can increase the SIP amount every year. These SIPs, I am planning to continue for a long period. I have started the following SIPs this year (Rs 16,000 per month)
Mirae Asset Large Cap Fund: Rs 4,000
Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund: Rs 3,000
HDFC Index Fund - Sensex : Rs 3,000
Tata Digital India Fund: Rs 3,000
Tata Small Cap Fund: Rs 2,000
Motilal Oswal S&P 500 Index Fund: Rs 1,000

Should I make any changes or increase funds?

Assuming an annual return of 12%, you need to invest around Rs 15,800 every month to create a corpus of Rs 3 crore in 25 years. However, don't feel complacent. Money loses its value over a long period of time because of the impact of inflation. So, invest as much as you can as age is on your side. Time will help you to add to your corpus.

We would ask you to choose schemes that match your risk profile. You are investing in three large cap schemes (two index schemes and an actively-managed scheme). Large cap schemes have relatively low risk. They are recommended to conservative equity investors. Flexi cap schemes are recommended to moderate investors. Your other investments - digital and small cap funds - have very high risk. Make sure you are okay with the extra risk.
