I am 30 years old and I am investing in three mutual funds via SIPs. They are:
1. SBI Magnum Global Fund- Regular (G): Rs 2,500 per month
2. SBI Bluechip Fund- Regular (G): Rs 2,500 per month
3. Tata India Tax Savings Fund- Direct: Rs 3,000 per month.
I want to invest for a long duration, at least 20 years. I am targeting Rs 1 crore. Let me know if above investments will help me or do I need to invest more?

Deepali Sen, Founder, Srujan Financial Planners, responds:

To create a corpus of Rs 1 crore in 20 years, you need to invest Rs 10,000 per month at an annual rate of 12 per cent. You can invest the additional Rs 2,000 in Aditya Birla Sun Life Advantage Fund. Also, it is better to invest in SBI Magnum Multicap Fund instead of SBI Magnum Global Fund. Your other investments are fine according to me.
