Will I be able to create my target corpus?

I am investing in mutual funds since 2010. Currently, I have an SIP of Rs 15,000 in the growth option of the following schemes:
1. Aditya Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund: Rs 5,000
2. DSP BlackRock Micro cap Fund: Rs 2,000
3. HDFC Mid Cap Opportunities Fund: Rs 4,000
4. ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund: Rs 4,000
Goal: retirement, Rs 3 crore in 22 years
Age: 37 years
I want to know following things:
1. Whether funds are good and the goal can be achieved.
2. Should I replace ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund, as its performance is not good, with SBI Magnum Multicap Fund?
3. I want to stop SIP in DSP BlackRock Micro Cap Fund and want to invest that SIP amount in Reliance Small Cap Fund.

You are investing in good individual schemes. However, since you have not mentioned your risk profile, we wont be able to comment on your portfolio.

Assuming an annual return of 12 per cent, you would be able to create a corpus of around Rs 2 crore in 22 years. You may increase your investments every year to make for the shortfall.


Sure, ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund is underperforming for a while now, but it has a glorious history. If you do not want to give it more time, you may consider moving to better performing schemes in the same category.
