I am investing Rs 20,000 in five mutual fund schemes through SIPs. I am investing in two largecap schemes, two midcap schemes, and an ELSS. I am investing in the following mutual fund schemes:
ABSL Fronline Equity Fund: Rs 5,000
SBI Bluechip Fund - Regular (G): Rs 2,500
Mirrae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund - Regular: Rs 5,000
HDFC Mid-Cap Opportunities Fund: Rs 5,000
DSPBR Tax Saver Fund - Regular - Rs 2,500
My goal is to create a corpus of Rs 2 crore in the next 12-15 years. Will I be able to achieve my target?

Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund is now re-categorised as a large and midcap fund. You have invested in some good mutual fund schemes. Assuming an annual return of 15 per cent, you will be able to create Rs 1.35 crore in 15 years. To create a corpus of Rs 2 crore in 15 years, you need 18.75 per cent annual returns, which is also possible.
Also, you need to book profits when both valuations and earning growths are high. Currently, valuations are high but corporate earnings have to pick up.
