I am investing in five mutual fund schemes for 10 to 15 years through SIPs.

ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund: Rs 1,000
ICICI Prudential Balanced Fund: Rs 1,000
Motilal Oswal Most Focused Multicap 35 Fund : Rs 1,000
HDFC Equity Fund: Rs 2,000
HDFC Prudence Fund: Rs 1,000

I want to invest another Rs 1,000 via SIP. Should I continue with these schemes? Otherwise, suggest the necessary changes.

Ankita Tanna Narsey, Founder, Oaktree Financial Advisors, responds:

You can add a midcap or a multicap fund to your portfolio, depending on your risk profile. You can invest the additional Rs 1,000 to Motilal Oswal Most Focused Multicap 35 Fund, which is already in your portfolio.

Or here are some other options:

SBI Magnum Multicap Fund
SBI Bluechip Fund
Aditya Birla Sun Life Equity Fund
Aditya Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund
