My current portfolio:
SBI Bluechip Fund: Rs 2.45 lakh
ICICI Prudential Bluechip Fund: Rs 3.9 lakh
Principal Emerging Bluechip Fund: Rs 50,000
Motilal Oswal Mutlicap 35 Fund: Rs 2.7 lakh

Kotak Standard Multicap Fund: Rs 50,000
Mirae Asset India Equity Fund: Rs 5,000/month
HDFC Small Cap Fund: Rs 1 lakh
L&T Emerging Businesses Fund: Rs 37,500
HDFC Hybrid Eqity Fund: Rs 5 lakh
I also have investments of Rs 50,000 in IDFC Tax Advantage Fund and Rs 20,000 in Franklin India Short Term Fund.

The portfolio has been invested well. You can continue investing additional amounts in the same funds. There's no need to diversify beyond these number of schemes. Please keep in mind your investments in mid and small cap funds should be in the range of 12-15% of the corpus, and the remaining remaining corpus should be large and multicap schemes.

Hope you have invested at least four to five months of expenses in a liquid/ultra short term fund for emergency needs. For your medium term goals (between two to 7 years) you can invest in well managed bond and income funds.
