I am new to investing in mutual funds. I am 27 years old and at an early stage of my earning life. I currently save around Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 and can invest around Rs 25,000 per month from it. My risk appetite is moderate to high. My goal is to buy a house (may be after two to three years), for which I would take a loan of roughly Rs 60 lakh. I want to pay off this loan as soon as possible. Please guide me how to start investing.

If you are going to use your current and monthly savings as a down payment to your house, I would not suggest you to invest in equity funds as a period of two to three years is not sufficient for a volatile equity investment. Hence, you should invest in dynamic asset allocation funds, which can manage volatility and asset allocation to generate superior returns.
