I am 28 years old. I am planning to invest for a long term (more than 10 years). Can you please advise me on my portfolio? I have been investing in these schemes from 2017.
1. DSP BlackRock Equity Opportunities Fund: Rs 2,500
2. DSP BlackRock Small Cap Fund: Rs 2,500
3. DSP BlackRock Natural Resources and New Energy Fund: Rs 1,000
4. Aditya Birla Sun Life Balanced '95 Fund (G): Rs 2,000
5. Aditya Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund (G): Rs 1,000
6. Kotak Select Focus Fund: Rs 1,000

There is no need to invest in so many mutual fund schemes. You could simply invest in one scheme - ICICI Prudential Nifty Next 50 Index Fund. This is a multicap index fund and has shown good performance. Since this is an index fund, it avoids the fund manager risk completely.
