Yesterday, I invested Rs 20,000 each in ICICI Prudential Top 100 Fund and DSP BlackRock Small and Mid Cap Fund. I want to invest Rs 60,000 more for two years. Where should I invest?

Harpreet Singh, Founder, Vserv Capital Services, responds:

You have invested in a largecap and a small and midcap fund at a time when markets look expensive. If you had started an SIP in both, I would not have been worried. I hope you have a long-term view of eight to 10 years for these investments. However, I would not recommend any investment in equity based funds for two years. Stay in fixed income securities or debt funds. In absence of your goals, I can’t suggest you any schemes.
