I have been investing Rs 26,000 per month through SIPs in the following schemes for the last 14 months.

SBI Bluechip Fund: Rs 5,000
ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund: Rs 4,000
Axis Long Term Equity Fund: Rs 5,000)
Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund: Rs 5,000
HDFC Balanced Fund Rs 3,000
Mirae Asset Tax Saver Fund: Rs 2,000
DSP BlackRock Tax Saver Fund: Rs 2,000

All these schemes are under direct mode and growth option.

I want to further invest Rs 34,000 per month through SIP for the next six years. How should I invest the additional sum? Also, should I make any changes to my existing portfolio?

Chokkalingam Palaniappan, Director, Prakala Wealth Management, responds:

You have too many funds in your portfolio. Having said that, you may invest the additional sum as suggested below:

Principal Emerging Bluechip Fund: Rs 17,000 per month
Axis Focused 25 Fund: Rs 17,000 per month
