I want to invest Rs 13 lakh for three to five years. My goal is to achieve 10 to 12 per cent post-tax returns on my investment. My risk profile is low to moderate. Please advise.

Since you don't have a long investment horizon, you can not invest in equity mutual funds. You have also specified your risk appetite as low to moderate. Based on that, I would suggest aggressive hybrid mutual fund category. You can invest in these mutual fund schemes:

ICICI Prudential Equity & Debt Fund

HDFC Hybrid Equity Fund
Aditya Birla Sun Life Equity Hybrid '95 Fund
