When can we expect the market to boom?

I have investments in mutual funds. But the values are down since the last six months. When can we expect the market to boom?

It seems, you have investments in equity mutual funds. They are down because of the volatility in the market. Looking at the increased volatility, inflationary pressure, imminent rate hikes, possibility of a global recession, and so on, the market is likely to remain under pressure. Most mutual fund participants believe that the market may fall further in the coming months. Some say the market may regain some momentum in the next year. However, these are all predictions. They may or may not come true.
