Abakkus Small Cap Fund added three stocks, exited two and raised stakes in HDFC Bank and 55 others in July.
The smallcap fund added 1.03 lakh shares of Indo-MIM, 10.12 lakh shares of Mrs Bectors Food Specialities and 1.83 lakh shares of BEML in its portfolio.
The fund made a complete exit from two stocks. The fund sold 6 lakh shares of Bank of Baroda and 88,038 shares of Cyient DLM from its portfolio in the same period.

The fund increased its exposure in HDFC Bank and 55 other stocks in the same period. Around 1.20 lakh shares of HDFC Bank were added to the portfolio. The fund had nearly 4.20 lakh shares in its portfolio in July compared to 3 lakh shares in the previous month.
Among the other 55 stocks, the fund added a maximum number of shares of Vedanta Power of nearly 29.28 lakh in July and had 79.28 lakh shares in its portfolio. The fund added 8.98 lakh shares of Equitas Small Finance Bank, 8.81 lakh shares of Edelweiss Financial Services, and nearly 6.97 lakh shares of NCC in its portfolio.
Some of the other stocks where the fund increased its exposure included Aether Industries, Arvind Fashions, CDSL, CAMS, Container Corporation of India (Concor), Divi’s Laboratories, IIFL Finance, Inox India, Jindal Saw, Kajaria Ceramics, Kirloskar Oil Engines, Neuland Laboratories, Oracle Financial Services Software (OFSS), RateGain Travel Technologies, RBL Bank, SBI, Tanla Platforms, Urban Company, Vedanta Power and ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems.
The fund reduced its exposure in two stocks during the month. It sold 24,624 shares of Avalon Technologies and offloaded 1 lakh shares of Cemindia Projects, taking its holding in the latter down to around 1.10 lakh shares. Its exposure to PNB Housing Finance remained unchanged in July.
The fund held 62 stocks in July, up from 61 in the previous month, with assets under management (AUM) of Rs 2,113 crore as of July 2026.
Since its launch on March 17, 2026, Abakkus Small Cap Fund has delivered a return of 25.15%. Its portfolio comprises 5.84% largecap stocks, 2.87% midcaps, 77.67% smallcaps and 13.62% in other assets.

Abakkus Small Cap Fund aims at delivering long-term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of smallcap companies in India. The fund comes at a time when smallcap equities are offering potentially attractive entry valuations and structural growth opportunities.
The performance of the fund is benchmarked against Nifty Smallcap 250 - TRI and is managed by Abhishek Srinivas.
The fund will allocate 65-100% in equity and equity-related instruments of smallcap companies, 0-35% in equity and equity-related instruments of companies other than smallcap, 0-35% in debt securities (including securitised debt & debt derivatives) and money market instruments, and 0-10% in units issued by InvITs.
