SIF’s Ex-Top 100 long-short strategy gains 12% in 1 month; two offerings available

SIF’s Ex-Top 100 long-short strategy has delivered around 12% gain in the last one month. There are currently two offerings in the category. Here is a detailed breakup (Source: ACE MF)

Qsif Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short Fund, by Quant Mutual Fund, delivered the highest return in the last one month of around 15.24%.

iSIF Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short Fund, by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, gave a return of 8.78% in the last one month period.

WSIF Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short Fund by The Wealth Company Mutual Fund completed its NFO period on April 29. The NFO period of Altiva Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short Fund by Edelweiss Mutual Fund will start from May 18 to June 1.

In Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short Fund, the minimum investment in equity and equity related instruments of stocks excluding top 100 stocks by market capitalization will be 65% and maximum short exposure through unhedged derivative positions in equity and equity related instruments of other than large cap stocks will be 25%
