SIF strategies have received a total inflow of Rs 13,625 crore since October 2024, according to a report by ValueMetrics. The report further highlights which strategy contributes the most to the total inflows. Here is a detailed breakup.

Equity Long-Short Funds have received a total inflow of Rs 1,865 crore since October 2024 and contribute 14% to the total SIF flow. There are eight schemes under this strategy with 11,843 folios, and as of May 31, 2026, the total AUM is Rs 1,852 crore.

Equity Ex-Top 100 Long-Short Funds have received a total inflow of Rs 1,942 crore since October 2024 and contribute 14% to the total SIF flow. There are three schemes under this strategy with 15,324 folios, and as of May 31, 2026, the total AUM is Rs 1,957 crore.

Sector Rotation Long-Short Funds have received a total inflow of Rs 34 crore since October 2024 and contribute 0% to the total SIF flow. There is one scheme under this strategy with 158 folios, and as of May 31, 2026, the total AUM is Rs 35 crore.

Active Asset Allocator Long-Short Funds have received a total inflow of Rs 257 crore since October 2024 and contribute 2% to the total SIF flow. There are two schemes under this strategy with 748 folios, and as of May 31, 2026, the total AUM is Rs 261 crore.

Hybrid Long-Short Funds have received a total inflow of Rs 9,526 crore since October 2024 and contributed 72% to the total SIF flow. There are seven schemes under this strategy with 28676 folios, and as of May 31, 2026, the total AUM is Rs 9709 crore.

SIF assets stood at Rs 13,814 crore in May 2026, marking a 12% on-month rise. The category recorded positive inflows of Rs 1,396 crore during the month, driven by the hybrid investment strategy and the equity-oriented investment strategy.
