I agree with a relatively weaker performance of Franklin Templeton’s Bluechip Fund as well as the balanced fund. The fund has been toggling between being second and third quartile performer. Since your SIP investment outlook is perpetual, it is important to choose a fund house where you have comfort of consistency of policy and adherence to investment policy. Franklin Templeton has a stable investment team and a process driven organisation. These are important factors for long term commitments of SIP.
I do not have an idea of the quantum of investments. If the quantum has grown to a larger corpus, you may think of adding a fund or two for diversification. Please remember – for long term investment commitments, the stability of investment team, internal processes of AMC, etc., are equally important. As a short answer - I do not see an immediate concern for you to switch.
