Investments in equity mutual funds should be done for long term. The structural changes happening in the economy and the current slowdown is due to bad corporate governance. Your investment is not dependent on these factors. Pulling your money out of an ELSS after three years is not a wise decision. You should stay invested after the lock-in period and should attach a long term goal to your investments.
I would ask your to check your portfolio allocation and stay invested for 10 years to reap positive returns.
