Should I make changes to my mutual fund portfolio?

I am 29 years old, married and planning to have a child in the next two years. My short-term goal is to buy a house in a smart city, mid-short term goal for child education and long term goal for retirement.

Presently, I am investing in following mutual funds:
SBI Bluechip Fund: Rs 5,000
SBI Magnum Midcap Fund: Rs 5,000
SBI Magnum Multicap Fund: Rs 5,000
SBI Focused Equity Fund: Rs 2,500
SBI Magnum Global Fund: Rs 2,500
Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund: Rs 3,000

I would like to request you to please provide your expert comments on the mutual fund portfolio and suggestions to make any changes.

You have not defined your short-, mid-, or long-term goals. It is extremely important to put a number to your goals, provide for inflation and taxes to reach a realistic target. Without a realistic number, you may not be able to achieve your financial goals.

For example, suppose you want to buy a house in 10 years. First, you have to find out how much money you need to buy the house. Next, you have to take stock of your investments. Three, you have to find out how much extra money you need to buy the house or make a downpayment. Only then you would know how much you need to invest every month to create the corpus.

You are investing in a large cap scheme, mid cap scheme, diversified multi cap scheme, focused multi cap scheme, thematic (MNC) scheme, and large & mid cap scheme. Most of your investments are in the schemes of SBI Mutual Fund. It is better to diversify your investments across fund houses. You have mostly chosen good performers. However, the mid cap scheme is an underperformer in both three- and five-year horizon. We also do not recommend thematic schemes to regular investors. We believe it is better to take exposure to sectors through diversified multi cap schemes.
