3. Kotak Emerging Equity Scheme: Rs 1,000 per month
4. Mirae Asset Emgering Bluechip Fund: Rs 1,000 per moth
I want know whether my portfolio is good? If not, suggest changes. I want to invest another Rs 1,000. Please suggest me a good fund.
I also want to purchase a home in the next 10 years and my risk profile is moderately high.

You are investing in two tax saving schemes or Equity Linked Saving Schemes and two midcap schemes. Mid and smallcap schemes are meant for investors with a very high risk tolerance level. If your risk profile does not permit you to hold these schemes, you may have make changes to your portfolio. Largecap and multicap schemes are suited for investors with moderate risk profile.

Both the tax saving schemes are good performers; Mirae scheme is a great performer while Kotak scheme is an average performer.

Do not add more than four schemes to your portfolio. Since you are investing modest sum, there is no point in adding many schemes in your portfolio. Instead, invest the extra money in the schemes you have already invested.

It is always better to quantify your financial goals. Find out how much money you would require to buy the house and put together an investment plan to achieve it. It will give you a clear idea.
