Should I exit DSP Equity Fund?
I have been investing in DSP Equity Fund - Direct- Dividend reinvest since 2005. This is Super SIP, with SIP amount of Rs 2,500 per week or Rs 10,000 per month. Now the fund value is approximately Rs 38 lakh. Should I stay invested or exit and invest in other mutual fund or funds?

DSP Equity Fund is an average performer in the multi cap mutual fund category. You have not mentioned the reason why you are thinking of exiting the scheme. We typically ask investors to sell their investments in equity mutual funds at least two to three years before their goal and shift the money to a safe avenue like a debt scheme or bank deposit to protect their corpus from a possible volatility in the stock market. Other than this, the only reason why you should think of selling or shifting from your scheme is when the scheme is under performing its benchmark and category for a few years.
