I have invested Rs 75,000 via SIP in Nippon India Tax Saver (ELSS) Fund. The performance of the scheme is very disappointing. Please suggest what should I do? Should I hold my investments in the fund or transfer the entire amount to another scheme?

Chokkalingam Palaniappan, Director, Prakala Wealth Management, responds:

Though the performance of Nippon India Tax Saver (ELSS) Fund has not been good in the past, the scheme has started picking up recently. It is better to wait for now. You can exit the fund when it starts performing really well. In the meantime, you can stop the SIP in the fund and start a new SIP in Mirae Asset Tax Saver Fund.
