Samir Arora backed Helios Mid Cap Fund increased its stake in Swiggy and 20 other stocks in July whereas the exposure was reduced in Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) in the same time period, according to the monthly portfolio disclosed. (Source: ACE MF)

In July, the mid cap fund 2.16 lakh shares of Swiggy in its portfolio taking the total number of shares to 9.96 lakh in July compared to 7.80 lakh in the previous month. Among the other 20 stocks where the fund increased its exposure, the maximum number of shares of V2 Retail were added to the portfolio.

The fund added 4.96 lakh shares of V2 Retail and had 7.65 lakh shares in its portfolio in July against 2.69 lakh shares in the previous month. Nearly 3.41 lakh shares of GMR Airports, 2.30 lakh shares of Aditya Birla Capital and 1.41 lakh shares of Fortis Healthcare were added to the portfolio.

The other 16 stocks where this mid cap fund increased its exposure include some names such as Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals, Piramal Finance, Marico, Page Industries, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Sundaram Finance, Bharti Hexacom, Nippon Life India AMC, and Dixon Technologies (India).

Multi Commodity Exchange of India and Black Box were two stocks in which this mid cap fund reduced its stake. Nearly 72,600 shares of MCX and 1.67 lakh shares of Black Box were sold out from the portfolio.

A complete exit was made from seven stocks. Around 10.51 lakh shares of Lemon Tree Hotels were sold out from the portfolio worth Rs 12.26 crore. The exposure was reduced in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) by selling 7.80 lakh shares from the portfolio.

The fund sold 3.99 lakh shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals, 1.26 lakh shares of JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. - (Amalgamated), 1.05 lakh shares of BSE were sold out from the portfolio in the said time period. The other two stocks were Muthoot Finance and Hitachi Energy India.

Siemens Energy India was among seven stocks that were the new entrants in the portfolio in July. The mid cap fund added 72,500 shares of Siemens Energy India in its portfolio worth a market value of Rs 23.42 crore.

The other six stocks were Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Escorts Kubota, The Indian Hotels Company, Poonawalla Fincorp, Sona BLW Precision Forgings and AU Small Finance Bank.

The exposure remained unchanged in 38 stocks which includes some names such as ITC Hotels, Honansa Consumer, Cummins India, City Union Bank, Radico Khaitan, Edelweiss Financial Services, One97 Communications (Paytm), NBCC (India), CAMS, PNB Housing Finance, Aadhar Housing Finance, Ethos, CarTrade Tech, IDFC First Bank and Delhivery.

In July, the fund had 68 stocks in its portfolio and remained unchanged in comparison to the previous month. The portfolio of the fund was spread across 22 sectors with highest allocation in finance of around 19.29%

Launched on March 13, 2025, the fund had an AUM of Rs 1,951 crore. Since its inception, the fund delivered a CAGR of 25.89%. In the last one year, the fund delivered 16.37% return against 12.19% by the benchmark.

The performance is benchmarked against Nifty Midcap 150 - TRI. The fund holds 4.64% in large caps, 65.4% in mid caps, 28.9% in small caps and 1.07% in others.
