Quant Mutual Fund decrease cash holding to 10.30% in March

The fund house currently manages 21 equity schemes which includes pure equity plus sectoral and thematic funds. Out of these 21 schemes, Quant Small Cap Fund had the highest cash allocation in its portfolio of Rs 2,503 crore and had an equity AUM of Rs 22,388 crore in March.

Quant Mid Cap Fund and Quant Flexi Cap Fund had around Rs 996 crore and Rs 797 crore cash respectively in the same period.
Quant Large Cap Fund had Rs 462 crore in March followed by Quant Quantamental Fund which had Rs 356 crore cash in its portfolio in the same period. Quant ELSS Tax Saver Fund, an ELSS fund, had Rs 240.23 crore cash in its portfolio and had an equity AUM of Rs 10,164 crore.
Quant PSU Fund had Rs 210 crore cash in the portfolio, followed by Quant Focused Fund which had Rs 169 crore cash in its portfolio. Around five funds had less than Rs 100 crore cash in their respective portfolios in the mentioned time period.
Quant Healthcare Fund, a healthcare sector based fund, had the lowest cash in its portfolio of Rs 8.72 crore in March.

The fund house in its monthly release said that their overall portfolio remains tilted toward large and mega-large caps, and the overall liquidity of the portfolio is good and the high cash levels in most of the fund house's schemes will be used to selectively deploy small caps in falling markets.
The fund house is participating in both large and mega-large caps, while selectively increasing small-cap exposures in most of their equity schemes.
