The mid cap fund sold nearly 10.47 lakh shares of Reliance Industries taking the total number of shares to 30.85 lakh in October compared to 41.32 lakh shares in September.

Around 41,869 shares of Oracle Financial Services Software (OFSS) were added to the portfolio and took the total number of shares to 47,344 in October against 5,475 shares in September.
A complete exit from three stocks was made in the said time period. These stocks were Canara Bank, Biocon, and Indus Towers. Around 1.35 lakh shares of Canara Bank, 66.40 lakh shares of Indus Towers and 16.68 lakh shares of Biocon were sold out from the portfolio.
Godrej Properties was the new entrant in the portfolio in October and 3.07 lakh shares of this stock were added to the portfolio worth market value of Rs 70.40 crore.
In October, the mid cap fund had 25 stocks in its portfolio whereas in September, there were 27 stocks in the portfolio.
Launched on March 20, 2001, the mid cap fund had an AUM of Rs 8,525 crore as on October 31, 2025. The performance is benchmarked against Nifty Midcap 150 - TRI and is managed by Sandeep Tandon, Ankit Pande, Varun Pattani, Ayusha Kumbhat, Yug Tibrewal, Sameer Kate, Sanjeev Sharma.
The primary investment objective of the scheme is to generate capital appreciation and provide long-term growth opportunities by investing in a portfolio of mid cap companies. The mid cap fund holds 17.02% in large caps, 66.35% in mid caps, and 7.15% in small caps.
On a broader term, the fund has 75.06% in equity, 2.80% in debt and 22.16% in others, according to the portfolio data.
Quant Mid Cap Fund invests majority of the portfolio in mid-cap stocks and from both medium-term and long-term perspective and this scheme is apt for long-term investors.
On the performance side, the mid cap fund has offered 16.42% return in the last three years and 26.24% in the last five years. Since inception, the fund has offered 13.17% CAGR.
