Kotak Mutual Fund added around 31 new stocks in its portfolio in March which includes Ola Electric Mobility, Sagility India, Raymond Lifestyle, and Hindustan Zinc whereas it made a complete exit from 24 stocks which includes ITC Hotels, ICICI Securities, and JK Lakshmi Cement, according to monthly data by Prime Database.

Around 2,244 shares of Ola Electric Mobility were added to the portfolio in March and around 33.43 lakh shares of Reliance Power were added in the same period. The fund house added 2.44 lakh shares of Bajaj Housing Finance and added only 32 shares of Tata Investment Corporation.

The fund house sold 65.10 lakh shares of ICICI Securities, followed by 2.34 lakh shares of Easy Trip Planners and 2.11 lakh shares of ITC Hotels. Around 94 shares of Sanofi India and 79 shares of Fine Organic Industries were added to the portfolio in the mentioned period.

The holdings in 358 stocks increased in March which includes Swiggy, Bajaj Finance, RIL, Adani Green Energy, Tech Mahindra, ONGC, ITC, Tata Steel, Adani Enterprises, PFC, M&M, BEL, Marico, LIC, Indus Towers, IDFC First Bank, Titan, Ambuja Cement, and Eicher Motors.

The fund house reduced its stake in 143 stocks which includes EIH, KSB, Cello World, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Hindustan Aeronautics, SBI, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, HCL Technologies, REC, Jio Financial Services, Trent, Eternal, Voltas, DLF, PNB, CAMS, and Coforge.

The fund house had two unique stocks in its portfolio in the said period which included Igarashi Motors India (2.06 lakh shares) and WPIL (3.70 lakh shares).

In the industry-wise shareholding, the fund house had the highest holding in financial services of around 23.44%, followed by 17.94% in consumer discretionary. The allocation in diversified was the lowest of around 0.01% in March.

Kotak Mutual Fund had an AUM of Rs 4.78 lakh crore as on March 31, 2025 against Rs 4.69 lakh crore as on February 28, 2025. The fund house manages 148 schemes as on March ending which includes 56 equity schemes, six hybrid schemes, 76 debt schemes, four commodity based schemes, and six other schemes which includes passive funds.
