I am a 27-year-old working mother. I want to invest in mutual funds for my daughter's education and marriage. I am planning to invest Rs 2,000 each in two different funds. I can invest for long term to earn higher returns. Kindly suggest me the best funds to start my SIPs.

You have neither mentioned the number of years nor the amount you will need after those years to fulfil your goals. Please note that long term would mean at least seven years of staying invested. You could look at starting SIP of Rs 2,000 each in SBI Bluechip Fund, which is a largecap scheme and Aditya Birla Sun Life Equity Fund, a multicap scheme.
