I want to invest only in smallcap mutual funds. Is it good to invest in schemes like Reliance Small Cap Fund, SBI Bluechip Fund, HDFC Small Cap Fund and L&T Emerging Fund?

Joydeep Sen, Founder, wiseinvestor.in, responds:

Your question needs some context. Why do you want to invest in only smallcap funds? Is it because you already have other investments in largecap and midcap schemes? Otherwise, you should make investments in largecap, midcap, and smallcap schemes. The schemes you have mentioned are good. But, instead of SBI Bluechip Fund, which is a largecap fund, you can look at SBI Small and Midcap Fund.
