I work in the private sector. I have a salary of Rs 25,000. I am 20 years old. I want to invest in mutual funds, and I want to do it directly. How do I manage my portfolio? I am ready to take high risk, and I can start with a monthly SIP of Rs 2,000 for 8-10 years.

You should invest directly only if you have sound knowledge of investing in mutual funds. Otherwise, it is always better to seek the help of a seasoned mutual fund advisor in your locality. First-time investors often require a bit hand-holding in the initial years of their investment journey. Only a good mutual fund advisor in your locality would be able to offer you such personalised advice. Once you gain some experience, probably you may consider investing on your own. Sorry to disappoint you. But it is not possible to become an investment expert overnight.
