15-year CAGR of Nifty and Sensex is 13.55 per cent and 13.95 per cent respectively. Basis the past 15-year annual returns, you need to invest Rs 13,000 monthly via SIP to achieve your goal of 75 lakh after 15 years.
Basis the information shared, you could consider having your asset allocation as 40 per cent largecap, 20 per cent multicap and remaining 40 per cent in thematic, focused and mid- or small-cap.
Scheme-wise allocation for Rs 13,000 SIP would be as follows:
Largecap allocation: Rs 5,200 (40 per cent of total SIP amount)
• Aditya Birla Sun Life Frontline Fund
Multicap allocation: Rs 2,600 (20 per cent of the total SIP amount)
• Mirae Asset India Equity Fund
• Canara Robeco Emerging Equities Fund
For Rs 5,200 or 40 per cent SIP allocation pertaining to thematic, focused and mid- or small-cap, you could continue with your following investments of:
• Axis Focused 25 Fund– Rs 1,600
For the balance Rs 2,000 – You could either increase your SIP allocation towards Invesco Contra or Axis Focussed 25 or alternatively consider the following mid and smallcap schemes:
• L&T Emerging Businesses Fund
