I have invested in five mutual funds via SIPs (Rs 2,000 each). I have a long-term horizon of at least 10 years. This is my portfolio:

ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund (Growth)
ICICI Prudential Focused Bluechip Fund (Growth)
ICICI Prudential Midcap Fund (Growth)
Aditya Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund (Growth)
Reliance Small Cap Fund (Growth)

Is this a good combination for the long term? How long should I plan to run them?

Raghvendra Nath, Managing Director, Ladderup Wealth Management, responds:

You are investing in three schemes from ICICI Prudential. You may look at diversifying your portfolio. You may sell ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund and shift to HDFC Mid-Cap Opportunities Fund. Choosing a mix of largecap and midcap funds is a good idea, as it creates a good balance between stability and growth.
